The RE-MAX 500 CNC Tilting Head is a heavy-duty horizontal thin cutting band saw that takes precision re-sawing to the next level. Building on the proven RE-MAX 500 platform, this model adds an adjustable cutting angle from 0° to 15°, unlocking new possibilities for angled and bevelled cuts across a wide range of applications — including flooring, windows, doors, furniture, and musical instruments.
Built from solid cast iron for lasting durability, the machine features a steel table at the cutting spot to ensure the highest level of precision with every cut. High-tension, thin-kerf blades minimize material waste while delivering a smooth, gluable surface finish with exceptional dimensional tolerances of ±0.15 mm. Bearings on both sides of the main wheel shafts provide maximum cutting stability throughout operation.
The machine handles material up to 500 mm wide and 150 mm thick, with a variable feed speed of up to 60 m/min. Both cutting speed and feed speed are fully adjustable, giving operators complete control. The divided feed conveyor with top-driven infeed pressure unit ensures consistent material handling, while integrated saw monitoring keeps performance in check during operation.
Operator control is straightforward thanks to the CNC touch-screen panel, which allows quick and precise height adjustment with minimal effort.
