Tube filters are great for applications involving finishes and fine sanding dust. Life expectancy of the tube filters is between 1-2 years with average use. The dust is captured inside the tube and falls from the filters into the dust drawer below, when the machine is turned off. A soft bristled brush (furnished with all tube filtration models) is used to run inside the filters, offering a deep cleaning procedure for the filters if needed. The tube filters clean at a 99% capture rate at 1 micron, creating a much superior filtration than any pleated filters.
