Circular Saw Shaft
The electronically balanced saw arbor with dual bearing seat system is powered via a Poly-V belt. Combined this results in an almost 100 % trans­mission of power to the saw blade. The saw arbor diameter on our machinery is a standard European size of 30 mm (1,18"). We offer this size of arbor for increased stability when performing a bigger cut and also more user safety when especially using dado tooling. The standard US size arbor is 16 mm (5/8"). This is almost half the diameter of our arbor and is intended for lighter machinery with small tooling. The European 30 mm diameter tooling is available for various suppliers throughout the US and existing tooling can also be resized to fit our machinery. Dado
The Felder 500 Series saw assembly is fully compatible with dado tooling. Thanks to a removable table insert and flanges, specialized Felder dado tooling can be used.
