ROBA Orbital 3T surface sander.
Orbital sander equipped with three separate, independently operating vacuum tables
and sanding units to achieve low cycle times and high output.
One operator loads and unloads the processing tables, meaning that all processing tables are always in operation. This reduces the processing time per workpiece to ⅓.
3 pc.     Vacuum workpiece table with linear motor drive in Y direction for precise and fast positioning.
Table equipped with vacuum and rubber mat part hold down system. 
Table side stops for easy positioning of the workpieces. 
Integrated automatic abrasive disc change station at the rear of the table.
Programmable sanding disc change sequence based on sanded surface volumes for optimal abrasive utilization.

Each carrier be equipped with two sanding units.
The type of sanding units is determined by the machine configuration.
The sanding pressure can be adjusted with high precision via the operation terminal.
The orbital sanding units are driven by a powerful milling spindle motor, equipped with high precision and long lasting bearings. 
All orbital unit rotation speeds are electronically controlled.
The rectangular orbital sanding unit has a tool size of 115mm x 230mm (4,52" x 9,05") or 81mm x 133mm (3,18" x 5,23")
using net abrasives for optimal dust extraction during the sanding process.
This type is used to sand cabinet door center panels or plane surfaces.
The round orbital sanding unit has a diameter of 150mm ( 5,9").
The round orbital sanding unit is used to sand frame rails and to remove cross grain scratches

The workpiece and rail dimensions are measured automatically before the sanding process.    

All electrical operation elements are installed at the front of the machine
in the operator's field of vision and easy to access.
Abrasive change from the rear of the machine.
