Used 2017 Grundner Storage and Retrieval system

Regular price $75,000.00

Used Grundner Storage and Retrieval system. 2017 year of manufacture.  32' wide x 72' long.  Length can be reduced or increased, however width cannot.  The stacks of panels can be stored directly next to each other, eliminating the need for aisle ways or turn around areas for forklifts to pick stacks of sheets off pallet racking.  This system is designed to store panels of all types in several different ways.  Most importantly, it can store rainbow stacks of panels, where every panel in the stack is different, knowing exactly where each panel is throughout the stack.  The algorithm of the control optimizes the most used panels and stores them closer to the top of the stacks and closer to the machine to minimize the loading time.  Next, the system can load full stacks of the most used panels so that there is always one of the desired panels at the top of the stack.  The algorithm can determine this, or the operator can choose a stack and make that a dedicated stack for any type of panel.  The system is loaded at the far end from the CNC where the panel list is entered into the controls and the machine will load the panels into the optimized positions between picks to load the machine, as well as into the evening if desired.  The system can also be set to load the next day’s cut bill and reorder the panels throughout the evening to optimize the pick times for all the different panels.
